Lara Trump: Trump Will Release More Epstein Evidence

Lara Trump says the Trump administration is planning to release more material related to the Jeffrey Epstein file, responding to ongoing pressure from supporters of the MAGA movement.

During an interview with Benny Johnson, Lara Trump—President Donald Trump's daughter-in-law, wife of Eric Trump—said the administration is aware of the optics. “He hears all the noise,” she said about Trump, “and will set things right.”

"I do think that there needs to be more transparency on this and I think that will happen. I don't know what truly exists there, but I know that this is something that's important to the president as well. He does want transparency on all these fronts. Everything we're talking about, because it's frustrated him as well. He sat for four years like the rest of us did and saw lie after lie and saw the country being set down the wrong path," she said.

She later added, "He is going to want to set things right. I believe that there will probably be more coming on this, and anything they are able to release that doesn't damage any witnesses or anyone underage or anything like that, I believe they'll probably try to get out sooner rather than later. Because they hear it and they understand it."

She added, “To anyone who's all worked up out there, there is no plot to keep this information away that I'm aware of. I do just believe that maybe its been slow-rolled for reasons that hopefully we understand down the line."

The comments come after the Department of Justice and FBI released a memo that said Epstein died by suicide in 2019 and stated there was no incriminating “client list” or evidence of blackmail involving high-profile figures. That conclusion has been heavily criticized by many on the right, including prominent MAGA figures.

President Trump weighed in himself on Truth Social, saying, “What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening. We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein."

In the same post, Trump defended AG Bondi’s role and questioned why the Epstein files were created in the first place. “Why are we giving publicity to Files written by Obama, Crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and the Losers and Criminals of the Biden Administration…? They created the Epstein Files, just like they created the FAKE Hillary Clinton/Christopher Steele Dossier that they used on me, and now my so-called ‘friends’ are playing right into their hands.”

He continued, “Why didn’t these Radical Left Lunatics release the Epstein Files? If there was ANYTHING in there that could have hurt the MAGA Movement, why didn’t they use it?”

Bondi’s handling of the files and the conclusions reached by the DOJ have been slammed for lacking transparency. The DOJ's memo stated there was “no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals.”
